Job Coaches - Early Childhood and Youth Services
These positions are 25 hours per week, for 5 weeks, beginning June 7, 2024. There is potential for more work depending on need.
This is an excellent position for college students, those adding licensure that need contact hours and current teachers.
CABVI (Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired) is looking for individuals to serve as Job Coaches for supporting the employment of students ages 14-18 who are Visually Impaired.
The coaches will, under the direction of the Youth Services Vision Specialist and Vocational Rehabilitation guidelines, support the employment of students by assisting with goal setting, teaching effective job tasks and improving job skills.
The job coach will also act as supervisor for the clients (students) and must be able to observe and report any incidents to the Vision Specialist.
Successful candidates will have an understanding of students, visual impairments, and be able to supervise and maintain a calm and positive demeanor as well as remaining professional in all situations.
Requirements:
The candidates must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or the equivalent, be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test. They may also be asked to transport clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 per hour
