Cincinnati Children's Hospital Has Been Named
The Accounting staff intern will be an integral member of the Accounting Department team at CCHMC led by the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer. Interns will be assigned to execute specific tasks within a variety of operational and accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger, research accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and cashier office responsibilities. Required skills include outstanding verbal, written, and communication skills, demonstrated leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and strong Microsoft Office product knowledge, including excel. Accounting majors preferred. Students will attend CCHMC’s new hire orientation program and will be a part of monthly department meetings.
Accounting Interns may have an opportunity to experience a wide array of assignments, exposing them to different facets of CCHMC’s operations. The CHMC internship "career path" may include assignments in core accounting functions – general ledger, accounts payable, research accounting, and fixed assets.
We are committed to the personal and professional development of our interns. We will provide performance feedback at the end of the assignment to ensure continual personal and professional growth. If desired, part-time work may be available during times that the intern is attending classes.
