Job Description:
We are currently seeking skilled Milling machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts holding close blueprint tolerances. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
We are currently seeking skilled Milling machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts holding close blueprint tolerances. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Setup machine as appropriate to machine specifications
- Setup and operate computer numerical control (CNC) and/or manual milling machines.
- Ability to read and edit programs using Fagor or Fanuc controls
- Will work from written procedures, blueprints, sketches, and/or verbal instructions
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Prove out programs and edits as necessary
- Must know G-Code
- Changes tool off sets to maintain dimensions per production drawings
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School degree desired, or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in similar capacity preferred
- Use and interpret precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US
