Diaper Bank Coordinator

Position Overview:
 The Diaper Bank Coordinator is responsible for providing logistical support, data management, and direct assistance in the distribution of diapers. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, and skilled in both interpersonal communication and computer-based tasks. The position involves traveling to various locations within the Cincinnati area to facilitate diaper distribution events.

Additional Information:

 This position is funded through a grant and is initially offered until April 2025. Depending on future grant approval, there may be an opportunity to extend the position until April 2026. The role is entirely onsite, with no remote work opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics and Distribution:
  • Manage the setup, delivery, and distribution of diapers to various locations.
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and timely restocking of diaper supplies.
  • Handle the physical demands of moving and transporting diaper boxes, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Data Management:
  • Maintain and update the intake system, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry.
  • Track distribution metrics and provide regular reports on diaper bank activities.
• Community Engagement:
  • Interact with the public, including sensitive demographics, with empathy and professionalism.
  • Assist in coordinating diaper distribution events, ensuring a smooth and organized process.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in managing data and inventory systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy boxes, and handle labor-intensive tasks.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for occasional Saturday events.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within Cincinnati.
