Job Purpose
Work with the executive director to manage the implementation of marketing initiatives, development/fundraising communications, special projects, sponsorships fulfillment, and general administrative duties that support the operations of the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum. This role works across all aspects of the organization’s operations including, but not limited to advertising, public relations, publicity, social media, strategic partnerships, development/fundraising projects, member initiatives, and public events. The ideal candidate is meticulous and organized and has a passion and drive to see positive results. Above all, they will bring a strong sense of our organization’s needs and how marketing and development play a role in our broader strategy.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage and implement marketing and communications efforts for all Hall of Fame, events, programs, activities, and campaigns that drive business and generate results, including writing for the Web, collateral, newsletters, exhibits, and social media.
- Assemble forecasts, set objectives, and organize promotional presentations, and calendars.
- Manage fundraising and development efforts for the museum’s various campaigns and initiatives.
- Collect and analyze data about target demographics to improve the museum’s marketing efforts.
- Maintain detailed records and reports.
- Cultivate strong relationships with donors, certain members, and key constituents.
- Maintain sponsor relationships to ensure quick and effective communication and fulfillment.
- Create solicitation letters, emails, print materials and other correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to the executive director of the Hall of Fame, including ordering office supplies and promotional items and providing hospitality for guests, honorees, and meetings.
- Coordinate Board of Directors activities, including scheduling meetings, compilation and distribution of materials.
- Assist with game-day duties and special events as needed.
- Assist with management/development of marketing interns.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, communications, sports administration, or a related field and have three-five years of work experience.
- Must have a proven track record of critical thinking, discernment, teamwork, and success and be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as required.
- Successful candidates are self-motivated, results-oriented individuals who bring energy and passion to a high-achieving collaborative environment.
- They must possess excellent written, organization, and time-management skills and the ability to communicate through multiple platforms.
- They must be proficient with databases and various computer applications, be creative, and proactively solve problems while handling a high volume of work.
