The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service and performing various line technician duties at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College's airport facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Parking and marshaling aircraft in the designated ramp area.
- Providing assistance with wing-walking duties as needed.
- Monitoring air-to-ground ratios and ensuring efficient operations.
- Aiding customers with parking arrangements and coordinating with them to ensure their needs are met.
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including lubricating hangar doors and replacing runway lights.
- Monitoring weather conditions and environmental factors that may impact air traffic and piloting requirements.
- Clearing snow from walkways and ramps to ensure safe navigation.
- Supporting flight school customers with scheduling and logistical matters.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the ramp, buildings, and customer areas.
- Coordinating fuel dispensing and overseeing related processes.
- Conducting quality checks on fuel and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing sales invoices and tracking financial transactions.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Performing routine inspections of customer aircraft.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules based on airport operational needs.
- Obtaining and maintaining fuel servicing certification.
- Physical ability to climb a 6-foot step ladder while handling a fuel hose.
