Position Summary & Purpose : Develop and gain hands-on experience in the full cycle recruitment process and contribute to finding top talent for our organization while obtaining skills and knowledge in administrative related tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department.
Duties and Responsibilities :
ESSENTIAL :
Recruiting
Sourcing Candidates : Utilize various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks) to identify potential candidates who align with open positions and company culture.
Resume Screening & Initial Assessments : Review and evaluate resumes to determine if candidates meet the minimum qualifications. Administer initial assessments or skills tests as needed.
Interview Scheduling & Coordination : Manage the logistics of interviews, including scheduling, sending confirmations, preparing interview materials, and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
Candidate Communication : Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates on their application status and answering inquiries.
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management : Ensure data integrity by accurately updating and maintaining candidate information within the ATS (Paycor).
Onboarding Support : Assist with onboarding new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
Administrative Support
Assist in employee filing, schedule meetings, restock supplies as needed, data entry into ATS as needed, etc.
Employee communications : Assist with employee notices / postings, bulletin board management, intranet, video board monitors
Company Events : Assist with set-up, preparing documents, coordinates requests and production of needed items for events
Performs a variety of other special projects to assist the HR team and offerings
Education and Experience : REQUIRED :
- Currently enrolled in relevant undergrad or master program including Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Characteristics, etc. REQUIRED :
Detail oriented and excellent organizational abilities
Understanding of HR principles and practices
Proficiency in computer application software such as Google Suite & MS Office, (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Must be organized and work well in a fast-paced environment
Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required
