Roller Operator

Overview

Cincinnati Asphalt is seeking Roller Operators. The Roller Operator is a function of the asphalt paving process and is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient distribution and compaction of cooling asphalt to achieve a smooth, finished surface.

The Roller Operator will:

Be responsible for the safe and efficient operator of the asphalt roller.

Achieve asphalt compaction.

Maintain roller pattern once established unless it needs modified to achieve specified densities.

Push and pull hand levers on move machine.

Keep roller clean.

Check and adjust oil levels.

Fill water tank.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

Knowledge of roller patterns.

Knowledge of densities and temperatures.

A team and safety-oriented mentality.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
