The Ownership Group of Several Hilton Brand Hotels is seeking a Revenue Driven, Guest Satisfaction Guaranteed, Dedicated, Team Leading Certified Hampton General Manager for the New Hampton By Hilton located at 6336 Harrison Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45247.
Qualified Candidate must have a minimum of 2-4 years AGM and/or GM Management Experience to be considered with a dynamic engaging personality proficient in hotel group and corporate sales. Job Description
The ideal candidate for General Manager is required to continually focus on achieving hotel profitability through revenue, occupancy, cost control, guest satisfaction and the development of employees to advance within the company. The Candidate chosen will be expected to maintain the integrity of the hotel brand following all brand guidelines; adhere to the mission statement of the Ownership group and work constructively with the VP of Operations and Corporate Office.
Managing Property Operations and Department Budgets
- Insure service programs are in place and executed against (e.g., Hilton Honors).
- Provide timely, real-time feedback to management and hourly associates on service and operational standards; including feedback on even the smallest of service and operational details.
- Review and follow-up on property Qualtics and Social Media performance scores and comments.
- Create and support clear lines of responsibility for management team, including coverage and oversight throughout the day.
- Walk the property to ensure public spaces, grounds, work and kitchen areas meet sanitation and cleanliness/maintenance standards.
- Manage the flow of labor between departments to support effective management of Labor Budget and achievement of profitability goals.
- Prepare for QA audits (i.e., daily and pre-visit activities)
- Work with the VP of Operations to insure the success of the hotel.
Managing and Sustaining Sales and Marketing Strategy
- Interact with in-house guests to prospect for new sources of business.
- Work with Market Sales to establish property sales strategy, extended stay occupancy targets, sales goals, and action plans.
- Understand and leverage sales and marketing advantages over competitor properties within market.

Managing Profitability
- Monitor and forecast future and length of stay rate tiers to inform revenue management and profitability strategy.
- Manage on-property controllable costs associated with rooms, housekeeping, events, and food and beverage operations.
- Initiate action to support property revenue and profitability goals.

- Maintaining Revenue Management Goals
- Manage the relationship with the revenue management office and participate in routine calls, strategy meetings, periodic update meetings, etc. with Owners and Corporate Officers.
- Balance inventory to ensure same-day sellouts and future demand, control LOS patterns and put in place restrictions for high demand dates to maximize revenue.
Managing Relationships with Owners and Corporate Officers
- Keep owners and corporate officers updated on property performance in the areas of financials, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement.
- Prepare and present reports for owners using financial/performance data, balancing and turning in daily.
- Participate in owner conference calls and respond appropriately to owner and VP of Operations requests
Managing and Conducting Human Resource activities
- Conduct performance review process for associates (career plan form, development plans, associate information form, mid-year check-ins, 90-day check-ins for new associates, etc.).
- Understand the performance expectations for all positions within the property (e.g. front desk associate, breakfast hostess and night auditors)
- Facilitate cross training to support associate professional growth and operational excellence.

Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate is one who has prior Hilton Hotels General Management Experience with a minimum of 3-4 years in an AGM or GM position that holds current Hilton Training Certifications. Candidates without Hampton GM Certification will be considered if experienced in other brands. Must have Valid Driver’s License, Flexible Schedule, clean Background Check and subject to Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

ESSENTIAL GENERAL MANAGER FUNCTIONS: * Ensures compliance with company/franchise standards for personnel administration and performance, service to patrons, and room rates * Delegates authority and assigns responsibility to all employees; supervises work activities of all employees * Ensures staff received proper training for each position, including safety training and standard operating procedures * Allocates funds, authorizes expenditures and assists in budget planning * Monitors cost controls on a regular basis * Performs duties of a Sales and Marketing manager including making marketing calls; attending community business functions; working with travel agents and direct bill accounts; and coordinating sales promotions * Answers patrons' complaints and resolves problems to maintain Guest Satisfaction * Handles and resolves employee issues * Conducts annual wage scale surveys and ensures employee wages follow wage and salary guidelines * Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures * Ensures bank deposits are made daily, including weekends and holidays * Ensures employee paperwork, work schedules and payroll are completed and submitted in a timely manner * Audits daily reports and processes daily/monthly paperwork * Orders supplies and equipment as needed and in accordance to company procedures * Available 24/7 with reliable transportation * All other duties as assigned'
