Child:The family has a daughter who is currently 23 months old. G2 is very fun to be around – energetic, happy, curious, and engaged. She is also extremely warm and loving to those around her. G2 loves to hug and kiss those around her and her stuffies, read books and say new words and phrases, explore new parks and activities, and dance and sing for anyone who will watch. She learns lyrics to songs she hears and often sings them later, unprompted. G2loves to get outside as the weather permits and to explore new spaces. She is large and strong for her age, and can often be adventurous physically. She loves to experiment and play with her hands – sometimes asking for alone time to build lego towers or stack stuffed animals or turn the pages of a book. G2is an exceptionally good communicator for her age, with a large vocabulary and an ability to tell stories about what is happening around her. She is a very eccentric mix of social, independent, strong willed and kind. G2 takes one nap in the middle of the day and the parents prioritize letting her sleep for as long as she needs to for that nap. She eats meals and snacks at home and on the go throughout the day – her favorite foods are pickles, chocolate chips, crunchy bell peppers and black beans. She is very fun!

Family values:
The parents seek to provide a warm, curiosity-driven, experiential, creative and fun environment for their daughter. They hope to show her how to be good-hearted, independent, hard-working and someone who cares about others. They hope she will have a passion in whatever she decides to do and has a desire to be good at it. They hope she will be open to new experiences, worldly and have her own perspective. The family enjoys spending time outside, with their friends and their families. They are very family-oriented and do what they can all together; they value time around the table together and vacationing with both families. (There may be some potential for the nanny to travel with, but this is not required.) Both parents work from home. They currently live in a 5-story building, in Over The Rhine, walking distance to Washington Park. They live on the 4th and 5th floor, and their company is on the 3rd floor. They will be moving to a house in Columbia Tusculum (45226) in April. They have the flexibility to work from home or elsewhere and will seek to collaborate with the nanny to make it work for all. The parents would say the best thing about parenting so far is feeling the energy G2 brings to explore and make the most of each day. She is a blast!
.
Duties include:
Nanny Role: Basic care and clean up after the child. Child’s laundry. Keeping the house picked up and orderly, wiping counters/table, vacuuming, putting stuff away, etc. Transportation. The family encourages getting out for activities, walks, and play. In addition the Nanny/Household Manager Role would also include: Family laundry, running errands, setting appointments, managing contractors and other similar tasks.
.
Pets:
The family has a dog. She is 75 lb. Doberman, she may feel intimidating at first, but she is very friendly and will want to play. No pet care is required.
.
Hopes:
Ultimately, the family is seeking a professional long-term nanny or nanny/household manager who is engaging, warm, responsible and safe. The parents hope that the nanny would provide an environment similar to them – super positive, fun and supportive – and that their daughter would simply enjoy her days exploring the world! An ideal candidate would have toddler development and milestones. The family requires a 1-year commitment, but could see the role being needed for the next 3 years.
