Job Description
Cinteot is looking for a Software Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office.
The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining containerized systems running in Kubernetes, however, will also participate in requirements gathering and assisting the Information Assurance team in maintaining security paperwork.
This position is 100% on-site.
Required Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
• 4 years’ experience with Java, 3 years with Python and JavaScript, and 2 years with shell scripts
• 5 years building and maintaining systems running on Linux or other UNIX-like systems
• 2 years working with DevOps or DevSecOps teams in deploying and troubleshooting container-based systems
• TS/SCI with current CI poly
Preferred Qualifications:
• Security or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing
• 2 years’ experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant)
• Experience with NiFi
• Requirements management
• Maintaining systems documentation
• Experience with cross-domain systems
