Qualifications:
- 2 years of related experience in an automotive parts management position preferred but will train the right candidate
- 2 years of automotive parts sales experience required
- 3 years of experience as a service manager required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Responsibilities:
- Lead the service and parts departments, retail, and wholesale customers.
- Handle the parts inventory and track all expenses.
- Forecast goals and objectives for the parts and service departments and strive to meet/exceed them.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts and service department staff.
- Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
- Maintain a stabilized inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas.
- Assist customers in servicing, repairing, and explaining each service needed and keep them informed and updated throughout the service of their vehicle.
- Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately.
