Job Summary:
The Procurement Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling procurement activities, including purchasing, expediting, invoice resolution, and providing excellent customer service through email and phone communication. This role ensures timely delivery of products, manages vendor relations, and resolves order issues while adhering to company policies and safety standards.
Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30 am - 4 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of stock and non-stock items based on customer demand and inventory forecasts.
- Place purchase requisitions and vendor orders, ensuring quality, pricing, and delivery standards are met.
- Expedite orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and account payables issues.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and address issues.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a professional work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1 years of procurement or customer service experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
- May require lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying conditions.
Safety & Dress Code:
- Steel-toe shoes required.
- Casual dress code (jeans/long pants and collared shirt/blouse).
