General Description
The Inside Sales Manager for Waste Battery Recycling will be responsible for managing and optimizing a standardized sales process for small to medium-sized customers in need of battery recycling services and packaging options. The role's primary focus is on efficiency and scalability, ensuring that the quoting process, order tracking, onboarding, and customer requests are streamlined to improve the speed and effectiveness of the service.
This position is critical in building and maintaining working relationships with customers and ensuring operational excellence in managing battery materials and logistics. The ideal candidate would be process oriented and use their strategic thinking and customer management skills to enhance the sales process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales Process Management : Manage and optimize a standardized process to handle the entire sales cycle from quoting materials and logistics to providing order updates and customer support.
- Quoting & Pricing : Create and deliver quotes for battery materials and logistics services, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to industry standards.
- Order Status & Communication : Proactively provide customers with updates on their orders, ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
- Customer Support : Respond to a variety of customer inquiries, ensuring that requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Customer Onboarding : Efficiently onboard new customers, ensuring smooth integration into the recycling services and providing support through the initial stages of the partnership.
- Process Improvement : Continuously analyze the sales process to identify areas for improvement, increasing efficiency and reducing customization for each customer where unnecessary.
- Collaboration : Work cross-departmentally with Logistics, Operations, Customer Service, S&OP, and Finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction and streamline the sales process and resulting operating plan.
- Market & Industry Knowledge : Stay up-to-date on trends in the battery recycling industry, understanding customer needs and market dynamics.
