About the Acquisition Team
The Acquisitions Director will assess vendor performance and coordinate with Supplier Quality to address corrective actions as needed. This individual contributor role provides strategic leadership, mentoring, and support to the Purchasing team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sourcing/Commodity team on cost-saving initiatives and provide feedback on supplier challenges
- Mentor and develop purchasing personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and process improvement
- Support month-end financial reporting related to purchasing and supply chain functions
