What are the responsibilities and job description for the COTA Karting/Ride Mechanic position at Circuit of the Americas?
As a member of the COTA Karting team, your role will include offering exceptional service and contributing to the COTA vision of making memories for our guests. You will ensure a positive company image by providing gracious, friendly and efficient customer service to both COTA guests and your fellow team members.
DUTIES:
- Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent support from the beginning of their experience to the moment they leave our campus.
- Ensure the safety of everyone by thoroughly cleaning all work areas often during your shift.
- Follow department procedures to maintain inventory and process payment transactions.
- Operate and sanitize all karting equipment according to company procedures.
- Educate COTA guests on the entire karting experience with enthusiasm.
- Work on and maintain go-karts and amusement rides.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous small engine repair experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, in all weather conditions.
- Working knowledge of a variety of shop tools.
- Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet needs of the department.
