We are currently assisting our client with a Manufacturing Engineer search located near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for plant projects, driving the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, and supporting a Safety-focused work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be the technical expert on the operation and design of equipment, author instructions for equipment, and provide support and training to maintenance, engineering, and operations teams
- Problem-solve and improve processes using structured, data driven tools
- Provide cost estimates for new projects and submittals for approval
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and recommends actions
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Tooling
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 3 years' experience in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of CNC machining and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Proven success managing capital projects
