Job Overview: One of our clients is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Leader to manage a team of three recruiters for our manufacturing operations. This hands-on role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable recruiting for both hourly and salaried positions while actively managing and developing the recruiting team. You will ensure recruitment needs are met efficiently, maintain high standards, and oversee all aspects of the hiring process using an ATS system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Manage the Team: Supervise and support a team of three recruiters, providing day-to-day coaching, feedback, and support. Foster a collaborative environment and assist team members with any challenges they encounter.

- Hands-On Recruiting: Lead the recruitment process for manufacturing roles, including hourly production staff, skilled trades, and salaried positions. Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience from start to finish.
- ATS Management: Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, update statuses, and track progress. Maintain an organized, efficient process for all open positions.
- Monitor Metrics: Regularly review key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate feedback. Hold the team accountable for meeting or exceeding recruitment goals and adjust to improve performance.
- Develop & Coach the Team: Provide continuous guidance and coaching to the recruiting team. Help them refine their skills and reach individual and team-wide goals. Ensure they have the knowledge and tools to recruit for manufacturing roles.
- Maintain Recruiting Standards: Ensure that recruiting processes for all positions in the manufacturing sector are effective, consistent, and in compliance with company standards. Maintain high standards for candidate experience, communication, and hiring practices.
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Work closely with plant managers, HR partners, and other hiring managers to understand specific talent needs and ensure timely, quality hires for manufacturing positions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven experience in recruiting, ideally in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a recruitment team.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Data-driven, able to track, analyze, and improve team performance.
- A proactive, can-do attitude focused on meeting recruitment goals and deadlines.
- Previous experience in a senior recruitment or talent acquisition leadership role is preferred.
