What is this role?
As an Inventory Manager for Cirkul, you will be responsible for managing the inventory to ensure accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and create an environment to maximize production. This role will execute and lead cycle counts and wall to wall counts. You will work cross functionally with production planning, finance, warehousing, and leadership on Key Performance Metrics(KPIs) that drive business results to meet Cirkul’s high growth.
What does an average day look like?
- Driving Results: Oversee the accuracy of cycle and wall to wall counts, proper inventory receipts, and shipping/receiving functions.
- Taking Ownership: Oversee the facilities inventory systems and logistics operation, working to ensure all components of the facility are functioning properly.
- Making Decisions: Provide improvement ideas on inventory processes and systems.
- Cultivating Relationships: Partner with operations, logistics and warehouse to ensure efficient movement of materials and people.
- Instilling Trust: Monitor and control all inventory, shipping and receiving discrepancies by reviewing, researching and reporting issues.
- Customer Focus: Work cross functionally with production planning, finance, warehousing and leadership on Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) that drive business results to meet Cirkul’s high growth.
What background should you have?
- Relevant 4 Year Degree or Equivalent Work Experience.
- 2-5 years of managing inventory, logistics or manufacturing.
- 2-5 years working with production ERP(s).
- Strong Google sheets and/or Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills are a must.
- Have a positive attitude, willing to work with multiple levels of employees, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
