Job Summary
We’re hiring an FAA Compliance Manager that will play a critical role in ensuring the Vision Jet Part 142 and Part 135 training programs and related programs operate in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of FAA regulatory requirements, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to implement and maintain compliance processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to establish and oversee effective compliance programs. The candidate will serve in as the Part 142 Training Manager, a named position within the FAA Part 142 Training Program.
Responsibilities
Regulatory Oversight & Policy Development:
- Serve as a name Training Manager for the Part 142 training program
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate compliance measures into day-to-day operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the FAA personnel assigned to oversee the Part 142 training program
- Support the onboarding and continued operations of 135 training programs conducted
- Develop and maintain FAA approved training program documentation
- Develop, maintain internal process, procedures and job aids that facilitate compliance with 142 training program compliance.
- Stay abreast of changes to FAA and other government regulations and ensure the training program remains compliant.
Audit and Inspection Preparation:
- Prepare the organization for regulatory audits and inspections from relevant authorities, including the FAA, coordinating efforts across departments.
- Conduct internal audits to identify and address potential compliance issues proactively.
Training and Communication:
- Provide training to staff on regulatory compliance matters related to international regulations, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements.
- Communicate regulatory updates and changes from multiple authorities to relevant departments.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive system for documenting compliance activities with 14 CFR Part 142.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all relevant documents and certifications.
Qualifications

- Have 3 years’ experience working in aviation safety and compliance within the Part 141, Part 142, Part 135.
- Have 5 experience working in a flight operations environment.
- Currently active in the role of compliance and safety auditing within a regulated aviation organization or other ISO entity, preferred.
- FAA Flight Instructor required.
- Type Rating Examiner experience required
- Must have experience working with safety management systems.
- Have 5 years knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
