Position Summary:
We are actively looking for an IC Engineering Digital Summer Intern who can bring innovation and creative thinking to the team. As an Intern, you will have the ability to make a difference in a fast paced, nimble work environment by partnering with senior engineers on department related projects. You will get an opportunity to network and build relationships within the Medical Device industry. At Cirtec, you will be working with cross functional teams to get a true understanding of what a day in the life of the role would be like, and have a real impact on our business and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Integrated Circuit (IC) digital design tasks for Applications Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) for medical implants, such as RTL coding, synthesis, place and route
- Assist with generating design documentation required for the ISO13485 Medical Device Development standard.
- This is an opportunity to gain experience in IC design including: transistor level circuit design, layout, and verification.
Must Have:
- In process Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering required.
- Students in Masters or PHD program preferred
- Completed at least one class in transistor level circuit design and/or digital design with some experience using IC design software.
- Interest in how complex medical devices work.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with scripting or high-level software programming a plus.
Pay range:
Bachelors: 25 to 30 an hour depending on qualifications
Masters & PhD: 30 to 35 an hour depending on qualifications
