Position Summary
The Inside Sales Engineer supports Sales Engineers and acts as a liaison between internal/external sales personnel, customers, and suppliers as CIS works to bid projects. This position is critical to the accurate and competitive pricing of various jobs CIS engages in.
Position available in Little Rock, AR and Memphis, TN
Pay Rate: $55,000 to 65,000 - plus potential profit share.

Responsibilities
Maintains the software estimating database including updating price lists, parts database and estimating kit.
Updates regularly estimating kits through collaboration with Operations and Sales to streamline estimating time, increase accuracy and decreasing engineering/programming time
Coordinates bidding activity for the week with sales team
Maintains accuracy of CRM database for COBI on a daily/weekly basis
Collaborates with sales team on followup and sales forecasting via CRM
Provides periodic (monthly) updates to Sales Manager and Sales Team as to quota, sales forecast and vendor activity
Prepare cost estimates utilizing estimating software and detailed scope of work proposals, for Building Automation Systems as directed by Sales Management and sales team
Prepares booking packages to ensure timely completion of jobs and smooth transition to Operations
Pursues Prior Approvals for jobs where CIS not specified as equal
Assists sales team with preparation of RFPs as directed
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
College Degree or Tech School Degree

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Extensive knowledge of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, fire alarm and smoke removal systems, engineering, installation, and construction procedures
Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft applications
Complete thorough and detailed work with accuracy and consistency
Ability to make decisions, dispose of problems, and complete thoroughly detailed work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of personnel to include department and project managers, engineers, sales personnel, and service and control technicians
Valid Arkansas/Tennessee driver s license
Strong customer service skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
