Job Duties
- Performs sub-assembly and full/final assembly of firearms and accessories.
- Learns and performs all assembly jobs.
- Interprets basic drawings, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.
- Reviews OCS/OS sheet and specifications to determine assembly sequence, tooling requirements/changes and dimensions of finished work piece.
- Performs a variety of inspection and gaging operations to ensure maintenance of quality standards and specifications (metric and inch) (i.e. calipers, micrometers).
- Implements and sustains Lean activities for improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
- Performs preventative maintenance as required.
- May operate simple conventional or CNC machines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or related experience or training.
