MEET THE TEAM

You will be part of the U.S. Enterprise Networking Specialists Team and help advance the U.S. Public Sector Federal Area Networking sales team and improve our customers' lives, prospecting for new opportunities.

YOUR IMPACT

As an Account Executive-Product Sales Specialist at Cisco, you'll play a pivotal role in the sales process and work with the Enterprise Network portfolio of technology (switching, routing, wireless, and related software).

- Integrate Account Planning with the Account Teams

- Develop Bills of Materials and Estimates as part of proposals for customers

- Weekly Opportunity Forecasting using Sales Force and other tools

- A successful Cisco Product Sales Specialist you will work with Cisco Account Managers, Systems Engineers, Technical Leaders, Cisco Partners, and Sales Managers to plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations/demos, and close the business.

- This position covers our U.S. Federal Territory and focuses on our National Security customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7 years of experience in managing and winning major strategic opportunities
  • U.S. Govt. TS/SCI Clearance
  • 20 - 40% Travel is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Direct Federal Customer experience is desired, especially within U.S. National Security customers.

- Experienced in multi-level selling, comfortable influencing CxO, IT s, Managers, Purchasing, etc.

- Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles.

- A passion for driving strategies demonstrated leadership skills in a complex matrix organization and a strong presence and credibility established with the client base.
