Who We Are
Capacity Planning (CCP) is the central planning function within Platform organization focusing on forecasting, capacity planning, and HW planning for all Platform services including Cloud and Platform operated internal data centers. The function closely partners with Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Centers and Deployment organizations to plan capacity. Compute Forecasting and Planning team is chartered with building an accurate, and affordable plan for rolling 12-month horizon to help scale Compute products and services.
What You'll Do
As a Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of the team that owns the demand and capacity planning process within Cisco Security. In this role, you will :
- Analyze current capacity levels and utilization across various products and services.
- Forecast future capacity requirements based on historical data, market trends, and business growth projections.
- Develop models and scenarios to predict capacity needs and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop long-term capacity planning strategies.
- May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement analysis, improvement, and control.
- Communicates team progress. Performs cost and benefit analyses.
