What You'll Do:
As a Technical Engineer for Simulation & Automation on the Cisco 8000 team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing simulation software and tools used in accelerating our IOS-XR & SONIC development. You will work with Silicon One ASIC, SDK, and Network software teams to create digital twins of our router and AI fabric products.

You will be part of a fast-paced work environment, responsible for revolutionizing our software development process through application of cutting-edge simulation technology.

You are a passionate engineer with proven ability to deliver complete software projects independently, leveraging your deep technical knowledge and excellent collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's with 8 years OR Masters with 6 years' experience in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering in implementing and deploying simulators or related tools and infrastructure.
- Experience modeling ASIC's and NPUs.
- Experience in C/C programming and python/scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of virtualization and related technologies
- Linux networking knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills
- High level of work autonomy and sense of responsibility
