Responsibilities of the Corporate Business Analyst entail:
- Build reports and SQL queries to deliver business information in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Utilize and build reporting tools to analyze business functions.
- Build and create database structures as necessary.
- Recommend operational objectives by gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data.
- Evaluate reports and data output to ensure accuracy and proper formatting.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Assess and evaluate business processes for improvement, efficiency, and optimization.
- Develop and implement business solutions to improve business processes.
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support business strategies.
- Produce accurate and timely reports on a frequent or scheduled basis.
- Collaborate with other personnel to identify operational opportunities.
- Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.

Education & Qualifications:
- Capable of working under direction and receiving guidance with respect to job duties and responsibilities.
- Positive attitude, courteous demeanor, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills and the desire to succeed.
- 2 years of experience in Technology, Accounting, Information Technology, or Finance preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Math, or Finance preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial and marketing reports, policy manuals, and technical procedures.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, and exert strength with arms. This position requires manual dexterity sufficient to constantly work with the fingers. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color, depth, distance, near, and peripheral vision as well as the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
This position frequently operates in a well-lit indoor office setting with heating and air-conditioning with adequate ventilation. Employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally subject to lifting and carrying objects. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. The employee will spend time reading computer screens on a daily basis. Occasional weekend and evening overtime hours may be required as necessary to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the Business Analyst
