Job Summary
The Electrical Co-op Engineer will assist in the performance of Project Engineering activities which may vary from simple to moderate in various areas as they relate to Electrical Engineering. Work will include observation of lockout tagout energy isolation supervised observation of and participation in zero energy verification, complete electrical engineering documentation review including review of One Line Diagrams, arc flash studies, P and IDs, motor control schematics, etc. and provide mark-up, work to create job scopes for ongoing projects, and assist with the update and creation of CITGO specifications as they relate to operations and electrical engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Must be enrolled in accredited Electrical engineering program with a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior classification
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC)
