Job Duties:
Performs analysis of petrochemical feed-stocks, intermediates, and finished products in a production facility laboratory. Collects, distributes and disposes of samples. Records test results in designated locations. Records tracking information and samples and stores the samples in designated locations. Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Maintains laboratory records. Exhibits competency in all relevant laboratory test methods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Chemical or petroleum refining experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a truck
- Selected individuals must be able to climb, work outdoors, wear SCBA equipment and work a rotating shift schedule in a 24-hour operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) Eligibility
- TWIC Eligibility Requirements: The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and Transportation Security Administration. All candidates must be eligible to receive a TWIC in order to be considered for an offer.

Job Duties:
- Performs analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
- Sample pick up throughout refinery
- Records and validates data and calibrates equipment
- Communicates with Plant Operations personnel and customers
- Stores samples and documentation in designated locations
- Performs tests using analytical equipment
- Disposes of samples after testing is complete
- Operates bottle washer
