Sr. Associate in Citi’s CEF group: EaaS specialist
AEF’s mission is to provide full service solutions to Citi’s clients in the Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and other Sustainability related sectors. AEF is seeking a Sr. Associate to assist in the effort to utilize Efficiency as a Service (EaaS) for corporates. Leveraging an understanding of EaaS, the objective of this role is to act as support for our clients in their pursuit of finding strategic ways to finance a variety of resource efficiency upgrades, while taking advantage of accounting benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in new transaction execution of Efficiency as a Service (EaaS) projects including internal approval process, modeling, onboarding etc.
- Leverage past EaaS experience to further the development of structures, models, and memos
- Assist in the ongoing management and monitoring of new and existing deals
- Contribute to building Citi’s franchise through exemplary demonstration of its values and culture
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in structured finance.
- Experience building project specific cash flow models incorporating the savings produced by efficiency technologies
- Knowledge of EaaS structures and accounting benefits
- Experience onboarding clients and assisting in deal execution process
- Some connectivity with corporate clients, equity providers, and Energy Service Companies
- Advanced problem solving and organizational skills
- Consistently delivers clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with assisting and presenting to clients
- Ability to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyze industry trends, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
- Expertise using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Series 7 in addition to 63 and 79 licenses
