Director, Finance COO Transformation Program Manager (Hybrid)

The Finance Transformation Group in conjunction with the Function execution teams, is responsible for the successful delivery of regulatory and cross-business transformation. This role, as a member of the Finance Transformation Office, will help accelerate delivery of critical initiatives including managing one or more critical projects within the Finance PG Initiatives and ensuring that best practices and Citi standards are utilized to ensure successful delivery in a complex, global environment.

Finance Transformation is a results-driven organization of leaders supporting Citi Finance's transformation with a global scope. Ideal candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have an in-depth knowledge of financial services, experience delivering large, complex programs of work in Liquidity, Capital Markets, Market Risk or regulatory transformation, with a background in management consultancy and proven leadership savvy.

The Senior Program Manager will be focused on facilitating and guiding execution for key streams of the overall delivery, and requires an experienced program manager that has significant experience in scoping, developing and prioritizing plans with an ability to drive change to business practices, understand different perspectives and work effectively across a global organization.

Is able to provide thought leadership in target state design and provision of guidance, support and constructive challenge to ensure alignment with program strategy / commitments. Has excellent communication skills and can negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Provides advanced judgment and conducts in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions.

Responsibilities :

Responsibilities and priorities will reflect the needs of specific workstreams and will evolve over time, however the following are some of the specific responsibilities expected of this role :

• Leads planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities to guide delivery, with a ruthless management of critical path.
• Provides strategic direction and feedback with respect to alignment to business goals, stakeholder management and executive communications.
• Builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders, organizations and business heads.
• Identifies and drives resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.
• Collaborates with Senior Management on cross functional areas and other programs, as appropriate.
• Manages the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, to escalate and resolve on a timely basis.
• Manages the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
• Manage internal and external dependencies, including working closely with stakeholders in risk, lines of business, technology and data.
