Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee operational risk policies, technologies, and governance processes
- Independently assess risks and drive actions to address root causes of operational risk losses
- Collaborate with colleagues in Risk Management, Finance, Compliance/Control, and Businesses to ensure appropriate management of operational risk processes
- Facilitate accurate and timely reporting of operational risks to senior management
- Promote the use of risk indicators and support corporate initiatives
- Drive the strategic direction of Operational Risk Management for Global Lending Operations
- Identify emerging operational risks and ensure measures are taken to mitigate these risks
- Analyze operational risk data to identify areas of excessive risk and ensure mitigation efforts are effective
Requirements
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in operational risk management
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Experience in Loans operations is highly desirable
- Ability to break down complex matters into core issues and root causes
