Security Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Security Manager/Supervisor will oversee facility security to protect all company assets, customers and employees. The Security Manager/Supervisor may also manage and/or implement security protocols.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Interview security candidates and make recommendations to senior staff.
• Oversee the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.
• Prepare and conduct training for new hires and current staff.
• Provide and/or implement security and safety protocols for all assigned facilities.
• Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure work environment for staff and visitors.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and security inspections for assigned facilities.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as needed to address incidents and emergencies.
• Investigate security incidents and report findings to management, including any necessary recommendations for improving security protocols and procedures.
• Prepare written reports and maintain accurate records of incidents, activities, and other relevant information.
• Continuously monitor and adhere to all transportation security regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain the highest level of safety and security.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of security experience.
• At least three years of supervisory experience.
• Scheduling experience required (15 guards).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Guard card.
• Baton, pepper spray, and handcuff permits required within 90 days of hire.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Security: 3 years (Required)
• Supervising: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Guard Card (Required)
• Baton Permit (Preferred)
• OC Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Bakersfield, CA 93309 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Bakersfield, CA 93309: Relocate before starting work (Required)
