Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and setting up our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of all computer systems, and providing technical support to staff. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software components, as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for office IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Manage and maintain operating systems, primarily Windows and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot software issues and perform software installations and updates.
- Offer desktop support to end-users, resolving hardware and software problems in a timely manner.
- Utilize ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to track incidents and requests.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on IT equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Document processes, procedures, and solutions for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of office IT infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with computer management tools and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar service management platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and improving existing skills.
