Job Summary
The purpose of this job is to review, analyze, process loan requests, and prepare loan packages as necessary. Assess and report credit risk for new and existing borrowers.

Essential Job Functions
- Analyze repayment sources for companies and individuals, including cash flow, collateral value and other repayment mechanisms.
- Analyze and document the adequacy and likelihood of the primary and secondary sources of repayment
- Prepare and/or coordinate environmental reports outlining credit risk for the subject, industry, and surrounding areas.
- Review feasibility studies, document projected absorption with current market conditions and incorporate results into overall analysis.
- Conduct stress testing of the prospective borrower’s repayment ability.
- Review and recommend risk rating assignments for new and existing credits.
- Prepare formal written loan analyses on new and existing clients for loan committee and/or Board of Directors review.
- Present analytical findings to senior management and/or the Board of Directors.
- Evaluate the financial condition of commercial borrowing relationships and administer commercial credit files for the credit’s life cycle.
- Assist lenders in evaluating more complicated credit requests and preparing term sheets based upon repayment analysis.
- Ensure that financial statements are current and in accordance with loan agreements.
- Remain knowledgeable in the bank’s policies and regulations.
- Perform other duties as directed and assigned by management.
Equipment Operated
Utilize analytical, credit analysis, core banking and Microsoft Office products.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily at a desk with regular contact with employees and customers, in person and on the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
The workspace is typically at a shared workspace with a desk location. The position is issued a laptop or tablet with mobility available throughout the business location. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
