Position Description
The Workflow Specialist I is an entry level position in the Systems Service Center. This position will develop and maintain functional knowledge of jhaEnterprise Workflow, jhaAnalytics Cognos, and related software as well as SQL, .NET, and XML development languages. This position will use this knowledge to develop/maintain workflows and create/update Cognos reports to fulfill requests.
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Enterprise Workflow
- Develop and maintain a functional knowledge of Jack Henry Enterprise Workflow.
- Have an entry level understanding of programming knowledge of SQL, .Net, XML, and other coding languages to extract data from the Bank’s core system and/or ancillary products to create/maintain assigned Workflows.
- Have a functional Banking knowledge to retrieve and analyze the information produced for a Workflow to ensure the product delivered is relevant to the request.
- Works with SSC Officers and Business Systems Analyst to gather and understand project requirements from beginning to end to ensure effective Workflows are created and delivered.
Cognos
- Develop and maintain a functional knowledge of Cognos Report Authoring.
- Takes direction from SSC Officers to extract data from the Bank’s core system using Cognos to format, create, and maintain reports as assigned by SSC Officers.
General
- Model the Citizens Bank Corporate Culture in all aspects of interactions and work.
- Create a connection and develop rapport with Bank personnel to provide outstanding, personalized service.
- Maintain the safety, integrity, and confidentiality of customer information.
- Help maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Build, develop, and maintain partnerships with teammates and other departments to maximize effectiveness and to best serve our customers.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Responsible for completing all training courses assigned.
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and other banking regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating Windows based PC.
- Experience with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with general office equipment such as copier, scanner, fax, 10-key, filing systems.
- Proficient knowledge of basic addition and subtraction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in related field
- Functional knowledge and work experience with SQL, .NET, and XML.
- 1- 2 years experience with banking processes.
- Experience with Jack Henry Banking software.
