Your Role With Us:
The Workflow Coordinator for Nursing Administration plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and supporting the department’s leadership. This role involves providing regular updates to leadership on progress, accomplishments, and any issues that require attention. The coordinator manages a wide range of administrative tasks, including phone management, scheduling, document organization, and maintaining membership lists and SharePoint. Additionally, they organize team meetings, coordinate events, and assist with producing newsletters, annual reports, surveys, and awards. They also support the Professional Governance Council by handling logistics, preparing agendas, tracking attendance, and managing photography.
In terms of financial management, the coordinator is responsible for expense reporting, invoicing, inventory management, purchasing, and credit card reconciliation. They handle travel coordination and vendor relations, ensuring exceptional customer service. From a project perspective, the coordinator develops and maintains systems for data tracking and supports leadership with tools and reports for continuous improvement. They also manage and track projects from inception to completion, collaborating with both internal and external teams to ensure that goals are met on time. With strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills, the Workflow Coordinator ensures that all aspects of nursing administration are efficiently coordinated and aligned with departmental objectives.

Background/Expertise:
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED - Bachelor's Degree PREFERRED
- Two (2) years of demonstrated experience with data analysis and visual management PREFFERED
- Two (2) years of demonstrated knowledge and use of LEAN Thinking and tools REQUIRED
- One (1) year demonstrated successful experience in roles requiring logistical coordination and administrative support REQUIRED
- Minimum one (1) year healthcare organization experience REQUIRED
