Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Manager of Pharmacy Clinical Services to join the team at Stephens Pharmacy in Bolivar, Missouri.
A Typical Day Will Include
The Manager of Pharmacy Clinical Programs is responsible for overseeing outpatient clinical pharmacy services across the health system. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based pharmaceutical care to patients, optimizing medication therapy outcomes, and promoting the safe and effective use of medications. Responsible for development and deployment of all ambulatory pharmacy clinical programs and population health initiatives. Manages the CMH Medication Management Clinic and all associated services and staff. Assists with drug distribution as needed and is responsible for interpreting, preparing, and checking patient medication orders/prescriptions and for providing clinical and drug information to meet the needs of physicians, nurses, and patients. Assists in selection of new employees and conducts orientation, teaching, and in-service training programs. Supervises the work of ambulatory pharmacists and technician specialists. Requires ability to maintain courteous and diplomatic relations with physicians, nursing staff, and patients. Promotes good interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships. Behaves in a manner consistent with mission and objectives of CMH and performs other duties as requested.

Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy residency, or equivalent experience, or MBA or equivalent business degree is preferred.
- Experience: Experience in clinical pharmacy practice, drug cost and formulary management, and project management required. Five years of clinical pharmacy experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, is strongly preferred. Pharmacy experience in specialty pharmacy and 340B ideal
- Skills: Leadership and management, collaboration, communication, attention to detail, and time-management.
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed to provide pharmacy services in the State of Missouri (RPH) and Medication Therapy Services Certificate required. Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) or relevant clinical specialty preferred.
