What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Sonographer position at Citizens Memorial?
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting for a Vascular Sonographer in our Cardiology Department at our main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri.
The Cardiology Department has two ultrasound rooms, one stress lab, and one procedure room. Patient load includes outpatient, in-patient, and ER.
A typical day will include: Preparing patients for examinations, operating ultrasound equipment to perform examinations including TEE procedures, stress echo, and other procedures as ordered, reviewing images for quality and adequate coverage of areas needed; and accurately recording patient data and test outcomes.
This position is: PRN days working up to 10 hours every 2 weeks.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Completion of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology
- Experience: 1 year of prior experience preferred
- Skills: Excellent patient care, teamwork, detail-oriented
- Licensure/Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Medical Sonographer
