About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Citizens Teller. As a Citizens Teller, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, building long-term relationships, and helping customers achieve their financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in our lobbies and provide personalized advice and solutions that meet their needs.
- Demonstrate how to use our mobile app, or our ATMs, to complete simple transactions.
- Create amazing experiences for our customers by looking for opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Educate customers about Citizens products and benefits, and effectively respond to questions and/or concerns.
- Meet quarterly referral goals and confidently cash checks, process withdrawals and deposits.
- Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements:
- High School degree or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
- Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
- Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 6 months of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
- Motivates others, like teammates, business partners, and specialists, through collaboration.
- Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented and ability to multitask effectively.
