What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rounding Nurse position at Citrus Cardiology Consultants?
Citrus Cardiology Consultants, PA Is looking for a RN to function as a rounding nurse between two local hospitals (Leesburg and The Villages). We are looking for an individual to be part of our team whom has a positive attitude, flexible schedule and willingness to learn.
Requirements include:
- Current state licensure as a registered nurse.
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR and ACLS certification
- 1-2 years’ experience preferred
- Basic cardiology knowledge (I.e. reading rhythm strips, cardiac medications, cardiac disorders etc)
Job duties include:
Computer skills and navigation through hospital electronic health record, working with multiple physicians and being adaptive to their personal charting/rounding styles, interviewing patients to gather health history as well as presenting or reporting to the physician, reviewing charts, discussing patients with other health care professionals, documenting accurately and/or scribing for physicians, placing orders in EHR, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
