What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist - Club Activity Center position at Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club?
Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club is looking for a part-time (hours vary) receptionist to work at the club's Activity Center. The Activity Center hosts events, musical concerts, fitness classes, and activity clubs, and includes an outdoor pool and golf simulator room. The front desk associate provides office support to the membership and entertainment departments. Part-time for $13/hr. Must have drivers license and open schedule (must be able to work nights and weekends).
The ideal candidate will possess a cheerful, professional demeanor with a desire to be of service. Applicants must be able to handle a varying amount of walk-in traffic, greeting members and maintaining a friendly and courteous attitude while tending to various duties and utilizing a multi-line phone system.
This position requires the associate to have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook), and be able to operate a POS system for event ticket sales and club merchandise. Shifts may require several hours standing on your feet during peak hours. Sample physical tasks include lifting and stacking chairs; assembling tables; and tidying up the activity rooms, as well as the outdoor pool area.
Flexible schedules and potentially working nights/weekends are a must. (Our latest shift ends at 8 PM) Shifts will be determined upon successful hire and may fluctuate from month to month. Hours may vary from 24 to 30 hours per week, and the position pays $13 per hour. The candidate is required to submit to and pass a background screening.
Must live within a commutable distance to Citrus County, FL.
