The Library, Arts, History and CSU Extension department has an opening for a bilingual (Spanish/English) 29-hour part-time benefited inventHQ Makerspace Associate. We are seeking a high performing, innovative, and team-focused individual who has a passion for learning, creating, and collaborating.

Education
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university - preferred
Experience –
1 year experience required in public library work or a closely related field requiring extensive public contact in person and on the phone.
inventHQ Makerspace
1 year of experience working with a variety of makerspace tools and machinery, such as laser cutters, 3D printers, electronic cutting machines, sublimation printers, and hobby electronics. Experience working with children (preferred) and experience teaching complex technology (preferred).
Bilingual skills in Native Spanish-speaking and proficient English required. New hires must, as a condition of employment, pass the following pre-offer and post-offer/hire processes: oral board, reference checks, background checks including local police check and sex-offender registry.
Years of related experience may be substituted for required education, however education cannot be substituted for the necessary work experience. Candidates must meet the minimum required years of work experience.
