What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The starting salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $82,397.00 / year , based on experience and education.

Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Current DOTI policy requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.

As an Associate Application Support Administrator, you will :
Systems Administration : Independently works with project stakeholders to identify, document, and validate system architecture, requirements, and project goals for current utility billing applications and be part a key part of the future transition towards a consolidated utility billing application.Data Management & Analysis : Manage data, such as customer and logistical data, in our current applications. And perform routine data audits to ensure customer data is accurate and secure. Examples of the application / tools currently in use : Oracle, SQL Server, ESRI GIS, Salesforce, Zuora, Snowflake, Microsoft PowerBI, Python, and other data analysis tools.Standard and Process Development : Develops and implements standards, best practices, and methodologies for application utilization, business process improvements, data management, application interfaces, and reporting. Documents procedures, service-level agreements (SLAs), and methodologies related to application systems.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Liaise with the Wastewater Management Operations, Wastewater Management Customer Service, Technology Services, and other divisions within DOTI to ensure data integrity and application efficiency.Continuous Improvement : Regularly review and refine established processes and standards within DOTI-Wastewater Management to adapt to new technology, business needs, and industry best practices, and identify and address inefficiencies. Foster a culture of continuous process improvement.Issue Identification & Reporting : Identifies, documents, and reports potential issues related to application interfaces, data import / export processes such as duplicative data, billing and inventory accuracy, and other system functionalities.Data-Driven Decisions : Utilize data analysis and insights to inform decision-making processes that support and enhance our customer support systems to both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure actions are based on accurate, objective data rather than assumptions. Apply data to identify trends, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement across projects and initiative to all City and County Residents.Applications and Software : Assist / Manage DOTI-specific software and system data analysis / reporting. Education requirement : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics or a directly related fieldExperience Requirement : Two (2) years of Information Technology experience maintaining, implementing, and modifying off the shelf application softwareEducation / Experience Equivalency : One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
