At DEN, the Government Affairs & Global Public Policy Division (GAGPP) serves as a trusted Senior Leadership partner and provides holistic subject matter expertise, coordination, and collaboration enterprise-wide, including : focusing on multi-sector stakeholders and government officials to advance global strategy and innovation priorities; formulating and communicating on policy matters at all levels (International, Federal, State, Regional, Local); leading the City Council Approval Process; managing memberships & sponsorships; managing state & federal lobbying contracts; managing Colorado Open Records Act compliance; and advising the CEO and Senior Leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities for DEN's strategy and future growth.
What We Offer
The City and County of Denver (CCD) offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The full salary range for this position is $67,161.00 - $110,816.00. However, our target hiring range is between $68,000.00 - $94,900.00 a year commensurate with education and experience.

Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days. In this position you can expect to work on site at DEN or in the field three days per week.
What You'll Do
The GAGPP Team is currently hiring for a Compliance & Policy Associate.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to assist in ensuring DEN's compliance with the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) and to optimize administrative and operational functionality of the CORA team.
You will be part of a nimble, dynamic, and service-focused team, led by the Vice President (VP) of GAGPP.
