About Our Job
Denver International Airport’s Facility Maintenance Building team is seeking a talented Maintenance Technicians to work alongside our highly skilled and world-class trades professionals. This team is responsible for all the comfort needs of our airport guests and tenants. Our team works on a wide variety of issues, from day-to-day preventative maintenance to emergency response repair in various environments.

Location and Schedule
- On site at Denver International Airport (parking is provided)
- Shifts: Graveyard shift, 7:30pm-6am.
- Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If staffing challenges occur, weather conditions warrant or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees will be required to work extended hours and/or alternative shifts (includes nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Participates in mandatory snow removal duties
- Shifts are not guaranteed and are subject to change

- Skill in reading, interpreting and applying information from blueprints, written guidelines and standardized work practices to a variety of situations.
- Maintains records and prepares reports, which include estimating materials, labor, and equipment costs with supervisor or peers.
- Skill in using a variety of snow removal equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding position with continuous lifting of objects that can weigh up to 25-50 pounds.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to use technology including email, internet, databases, eMedia, social media and other software.
- Ability to pass a background check after the offer to hire has been made.
- Participates in snow removal operations.
Building:
- Entry-level trade work in a variety of trades areas, including but not limited to minor mechanical maintenance, general carpentry, minor roofing, overhead doors, seating repair, and hydraulic systems and schematics.
- Inspects facilities and equipment to identify construction, equipment, and mechanical needs.
- Observes all standard safety practices.
- Operates lightweight and heavy equipment and vehicles in connection with assigned duties and responsibilities as needed.

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
- Experience Requirement: One (1) year of experience performing a variety of duties in construction, mechanical, or facility maintenance.
- Education/Experience Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.
- License/Certifications: This job requires driving. Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.
- By position, requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL "B") with appropriate endorsements at the time of application or within six months of probation.
- Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment
