The Department of Design & Construction, Land Division, Acquisitions Branch is hiring for an entry-level Right-of-Way Agent I position! Learn how to acquire real property for City improvement projects starting from learning about various laws, rules, regulations and procedures involving acquiring real property, to reviewing construction plans to decide the location and square footage of property needed, and researching title and sale history to prepare for purchase negotiation. Real estate agents and real property appraisers looking to learn about right-of-way acquisitions and taking an active role in negotiating purchases should apply.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with major work in the field of business administration, public administration, economics, or a related field.
Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionally-accredited college/university in the United States. In order to receive credit for the education, a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. We also reserve the right to request further information about your academic program, evidence of comparability, or an original transcript.
