The Department of Enterprise Services, Golf Courses Division is hiring an Automatic Sprinkler System Repairer. This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical and hydraulic automatic ground sprinkler systems.
Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operating a City truck to pick up golf course irrigation system/mechanism and pump station repair parts and drop off irrigation and pump station repair parts to authorized distributor service/parts department.
- Repairing/replacing irrigation lines, valves, sprinkler heads, and other related irrigation system parts.
- Planning and establishing maintenance schedules for the automatic sprinkler system at the Pali Golf Course.
- Conducting periodic maintenance checks of automatic controllers and programmers, control valves and sprinklers, etc.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities of the position.
