The Honolulu Liquor Commission is looking for a Records Management Analyst II to work on creative and innovative solutions to efficiently and securely manage the physical and digital records in the Liquor Commission Information Systems (records management program) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with specialization in business or public administration, political science, history or a related field.

Duties and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing procedures and work processes to migrate and integrate records from an older Liquor Commission Information System (LCIS) database to a new LCIS database;
- Assisting in the creation of web-based accessible records in the new LCIS;
- Developing standardized manuals and training for internal and external LCIS users;
- Ensuring adherence to the City’s and the Commission’s record retention policies and regularly updating such policies to comply with any records management requirements;
- Processing requests for public information in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 92F, Uniform Information Practices Act (UIPA) and related laws, rules, and ordinances;
- Supervising and training clerical staff in the filing of Liquor Commission documents and records, maintaining accountability and confidentiality of records, and properly securing and storing records;
- Updating and maintaining the Commission’s website with current liquor-related topics for public review in accordance with State of Hawaii Liquor Laws and the City’s Liquor Rules.
