Job Summary
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for improving work force productivity through planning and scheduling all maintenance work to be performed. This position is the liaison between the production and maintenance departments supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize, maintain, coordinate, troubleshoot and manage the CMMS and maintenance defect log
- Oversee and/or Support processing of work orders including PM scheduling, receipt, coordination, input, tracking and prioritization.
- Performs regular data analysis on spare parts inventory and sparing process
- Work alongside internal teams to record current and outdated assets and add or update Preventive Maintenance tasks.
- Collects and manages data to support maintenance KPIs.
- Generate work order reports to the Reliability and Asset Care Manager
- Responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and systems
- Develop and execute plant equipment revitalization projects
- Development of procedures and documentation for the manufacturing plant mechanics and electricians within the CMMS environment
- Maintenance parts pricing with vendors, inventory & expense budgets
- Partner with Maintenance and Operations Departments on the development of maintenance schedules ensuring availability of necessary parts, etc.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, or Information Systems (Preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Technical experience in maintenance, manufacturing, engineering or equivalent experience in developing and implementing resource efficiency
- Manufacturing or process related experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner and provide direction to others
- Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them
- Computer skills and knowledge of various CMMS software
